What You'll Do

  • Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and hygiene
  • Assist with homemaking tasks such as meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping
  • Offer companionship and support at social and community events
  • Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
  • Support clients recovering from surgery or managing chronic conditions
  • Document care activities and communicate changes to the care team

What We're Looking For

  • Genuine compassion and patience
  • Prior home care or healthcare experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation in the greater Philadelphia area
  • Ability to pass PA State Police background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication skills and dependability

What You'll Do

  • Deliver dementia care with warmth, patience, and specialized skill
  • Reinforce routines and gently reintroduce yourself at each visit
  • Prepare adapted meals and engage clients in cognitive activities
  • Interact with clients in their version of reality with dignity
  • Monitor behavioral changes and communicate with the care team
  • Support family caregivers with guidance and education

What We're Looking For

  • Exceptional patience and empathy
  • Dementia care certification (or willingness to obtain — paid)
  • Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations
  • Strong observational and documentation skills
  • Passionate about improving quality of life
